Objective of reading Quraan

1. Our aim while reading Quraan should be to check "ourselves", "our own" actions instead of using the teachings of Islam to judge others.

2. REMEMBER! Allah is the most Powerful, the Creator of all the worlds. There is nothing Impossible for Allah. Allah can change the blackest of the hearts to purity. While reading Quraan, seek Allah's Guidance towards the righteous path.

3. All that is written in Quraan is practical, do-able stuff. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a human being like us and yet he was a living example of Quraan directives. He lived the life of Quraan not just to be "praised by his followers", but to be "followed by his followers" till the end of times.

4. Islam consists of two things, Quraan and Sunnah. Nothing other than these two offer true guidance to people.

5. Lastly, while reading Quraan, always remember that Allah is the most Benevolent and Merciful. He Loves the act of forgiveness and is ever there to Forgive us. We just need to ask for His Forgiveness and resolve to be steadfast in following the righteous path.
